The old cabin is over 70 years old now and has been abandoned for many years.  Every year the beach daisies bloom creating Nature's unique landscaping for this crumbling landmark on Indian Arm, north of Port Moody.

Artist's Comments: 

The underpainting for this piece was a scumbled mix of Hookers green and Alizarin crimson, making a rich lively dark, far superior to pure black.  I wanted to create a mysterious feel with deep shadows in the forest around the cabin.  Framed with a white mat and dark antiqued frame.  Size including frame 24 x 28 inches.
